Wednesday the 12th of July 2017 / 8.45 pm @ Ca’ Dei Ricchi (fisrt floor, TRA exhibition area) – Free entrance
The volume Essere Corpo will be presented @ Ca’ dei Ricchi.
The volume gives an overview focused on the original value of the testimony oriented to universal body language, taking as a reference all the twentieth century conflicts, in particular the First World War.
In fact, if we move away from the contemporary narrative – that is too often directed to a commemorative or chronicle character – the war remains something inexplicable for us, often tied to a narrative that intended to sensationalize the events. In the setting of an exhibition that presents artworks by young contemporary artists linked to the study by the same research, Essere Corpo proposes an itinerary in the bloody five years of the war, with different points of view, through the study and analysis of contemporary history, literature, sociology of communication and history of art essays.
