Three-day event in the footsteps of Erasmo di Valvasone

04.03.2024 | Past events and exhibitions

A leading figure of the literary Renaissance, Erasmo di Valvasone is an author who has fascinated generations of scholars and who still offers important insights today: the project was developed in order to reposition his figure in the canon of national literature and to establish a dialogue between his work and the strong themes of our present.
Alongside the historical and literary research, there was also an artistic one: the project created new literature from Erasmus’ cultural legacy, involving contemporary poets and poets.

Walk with the poet to discover the literary itinerary – event for schools

Historic Centre of Valvasone / 11:00 a.m.

A walk in the company of poet Francesco Maria Terzago, who will guide the classes through the digital literary trail installed in the city centre. The walk will end with a moment of refreshment. During the last stage, we will collect the works of the school classes participating in the project and hand out copies of Erbe Chimeriche signed by the author. The plaquette, published by B#S Edizioni and born from an artist residency in the area, reinvents science and its objects of study: the fantastic herbarium becomes an opportunity to come to terms with the present and our relationship with nature.
