July 1st 2017 / Opening of the sound art installation Insight, at Mosede Fort & Museum, Mosede Strandvej 87A, 2670, Greve (Denmark)
The installation will become part of the permanent collection of the museum, which is open from Tuesday to Sunday.
Insight is a sound installation, a sensory, narrative, auditive and visual path, a precious and vibrant relational architecture based on the perceptive stimuli of light art and sound art, which fits the neutral space, airy and metallic of the Mosede Fort (Denmark).
Joshua Cesa’s installation, with Alessio Sorato and Lorena Cantarut sounds, is formed by numerous ‘sensorial-auditive stations’, each one telling – through the stimulation of the senses and the reproduction of the auditive prints of the I World War, the experiential ghost of the conflict.
Inspired by the literary evidences of 1914-16, the artwork contributes in investigating the collective and individual memory of the first global global conflict, starting from the sensorial polarity sight/deceptive – hearing/salvific, detected into the evidences of the past and common to all the conflicts of the short century.
The project was realized thanks to the Italian SIAE -Società Italiana Autori Editori, within its fund for young artists internationalization Sillumina, and with the patronage of the Italian Minystry of Culture
