On Saturday, May 13 at 5 p.m., the Sala del Corpo di Guardia of the Castello di Sotto in Strassoldo becomes the setting for the presentation of Ciclonugae. Sui pedali tra le pagine del Friuli, the literary cyclo-guide by Alberto Pavan published by Prospero Editore (2023).
Ciclonugae is a volume that brings together a series of travel proposals through Friuli Venezia Giulia: designed for cycling and beyond, the itineraries take us into the country through the study of the pages of authors who are linked to those places, or who have spoken of those places in their works. The first of the five proposed routes, going from Virgil to Pasolini, begins precisely in Strassoldo. In Cyclonugae, literature makes the landscape speak from different perspectives, stretching its folds, animating its men.
At 5 p.m. author Alberto Pavan will present the volume published by Prospero, with a musical moment inspired by the pages of the book.
In case of good weather, during the presentation children and young people will be able to participate in an art workshop in nature (free and by reservation).
For those who like, a guided tour of the Castle’s charming garden will follow.
Free event, reservation required at firstname.lastname@example.org
