Mattia Cesaria (born in Bergamo in 1993) is a multimedia artist who works with a wide variety of mediums.
The artist is currently attending the course of New Technologies of Art at Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in Bergamo, where he held also two exhibition during 2016.
Coming from a street art background, the young artist decided to experiment different medias developing his researches into the field of multimedia and technology related to art. He tries to find out the semantic and expressive potentiality of the video-installation that can be enriched by different component as interactivity and space.
In his practice, in fact, a fundamental element is the strong attention to the space because of the immersive environment he wants to create in order to encourage an interaction between the artwork and the audience.
One of his project Sulle ali dell’oca, a short documentary, was born and has been widespread with the collaboration of the Città dell’Arte Fundation and the Carrara Academy of Art in Bergamo.
Mattia participated to the B#Side War Festival vol II (edition 2015-2016) taking part of Perspective On War, with his artwork ExTimete, a video-installation that reflect on the dynamics of the First World War.
