Vanessa Gageos (born in 1989 in Bucharest) is a performative media and sound installation artist currently based in Berlin. The course of her studies is divided between Germany and Switzerland: she graduated in Art and Media at the University of the Arts in Berlin, in Music and MediaArt at the Art University Bern and in Space Strategies at the Weißensee Art University in Berlin.
This hybrid background deeply influenced her artistic practice that moves at the boundary between different medias and artistic languages.
